Antebellum,known as the only fetish art gallery in the world,
continues it's tradition of including the previously excluded
cultural movements with a group of artworks presented for
and by RADICAL FAERIES
In the summer of 1979, a group of gay men met
somewhere in the Arizona desert. Frustrated with the
limitations of urban environments, gay men of all ages &
backgrounds began exploration of themselves and
their sexuality in more organic forms.
A post-Stonewall movement was created. Various fractions
of Radical Faeries continue to this day.

2009 marks the 30th anniversary of this unique group. This
exhibition explores the movement's roots and perhaps
where it is going in the future.

Anniversary of the Radical Faeries. It's at Rick Castro's one of a

were accepted. Another internationally renowned
photographer, Greg Day, submitted five other images of me for
the show and they are all hanging up there now as I write. I also
was pleased to get the front window space for two of my images.
That's only one quarter of the show though and amazing
artists with much more clout then I are hanging their works in
the gallery! I am both Blessed and lucky to be in with them!

Gay artists in this show a bigger part of the world, (as well as
further educate the community about some of our Founders in
